In Nimmerland findet die große Schatzjagd statt. Es werden Dreierteams gebildet. Weil Wendy allen zeigen will, was Mädchen drauf haben, gibt es ein Mädchenteam. Wer wird gewinnen? Peter und die Verlorenen Kinder spielen Hook einen Streich. Sie bringen Fässer mit Schwarzpulver außen an der Jolly Roger an. Als Hook auf die Kinder schießen will, explodieren die Fässer. Das Schiff hebt ab und landet im Wald. Wendy bekommt davon nichts mit, sie ist unter einer Trauerweide eingeschlafen. Sie träumt davon, viele Wendys zu sein.

Jaro stiehlt im Indianerdorf eine Schatulle mit Puppen, die die Nimmerland-Einwohner darstellen. Wenn man eine Puppe aktiviert und dann bewegt, macht die betreffende Person genau dasselbe. Der Häuptling benutzt sie, um die jeweilige Person zu heilen. Um sie zu aktivieren, muss man sie in Wasser tauchen. Das weiß Jaro aber nicht.

In Nimmerland haben die Verlorenen Kinder die gefährliche Monstertür gefangen und am Boden festgebunden. Doch sie kann sich wieder losreißen und John und Wendy verschlingen. Die beiden Geschwister befinden sich nun in der Nachtwelt. Um wieder zurückzukommen, müssen sie nochmal durch die Tür gehen, aber es ist gar nicht so einfach, die zu finden.
