Hope Is the Thing with Feathers is a collection of her vast archive of poetry to inspire the writers, creatives, and feminists of today.

The pets mentioned in this collection include four hamsters, two rabbits, four dogs, seven cats, a guinea pig, and a budgie. All poems are captioned with details of the pets they are about.
