Imagine a school where you meet your own unicorn and have amazing adventures together! That’s what happens for the girls at Unicorn Academy on beautiful Unicorn Island. Matilda and Pearl are having a fantastic time at Unicorn Academy. They both have big imaginations and are great at telling stories. They’re the perfect partners. While camping in the woods, Matilda, Pearl and their friends discover that magic is draining from the oldest tree on the island. They’re sure someone is up to no good, but they’ll have to think fast to stop them!

The charming, eccentric, heartwarming tale of a friendship between a lonely old coffin maker whose family is gone and a little boy in need of safe harbour. Everybody on the wonderful Italian island knows Alberto. The old man has made coffins for the great, the good, the poor and the rich for as long as they can remember. They know, too, that ever since his wife died and his children left, he's withdrawn further and further into himself. Indeed, he's become positively grumpy.

In 1894, 12-year-old Matilda flees the city slums to find her unknown father and his farm. But drought grips the land, and the shearers are on strike. Her father has turned swaggie, and he's wanted by the troopers. In front of his terrified daughter, he makes a stand against them, defiant to the last. "You'll never catch me alive," said he....

Alberto lives alone in the town of Allora, where fish fly out of the sea and the houses shine like jewels. He is a coffin maker and widower, spending his quiet days creating the final resting places of Allora’s people. Then one afternoon a magical bird flutters into his garden, and Alberto, lonely inside, welcomes it into his home. And when a kindhearted boy named Tito follows the bird into Alberto’s kitchen, a door in the old man’s heart cracks open. Tito is lonely too – but he’s also scared and searching for a place to hide.

We meet race car driver REX TANNER in 1935, after he’s been captured trying to save scientist PENELOPE MULGREW from the clutches of evil Nazi geneticist, DR. JACQUELINE HYDE. Rex effects their escape using the OMNIDIAL: a mysterious device permanently grafted to his skin, which imbues him with temporary super-powers… when it works.
