People yell, honk, throw things, even bark and howl at me, just because I ride a bike in traffic. I understand their frustration. I used to be one of those miserable car drivers, too, and there are few things worse. The three times I’ve driven in the last four years have confirmed that going "bike only" was the right decision, a physically and emotionally satisfying experience.

Durant six ans, j’ai côtoyé des héros. J’ai combattu quelques gros feux, perdu un camarade, sauvé des vies et vu des gens mourir. J’ai été immergé en plein cœur de la détresse du tout Paris. Mais cette vie trépidante ne me suffisait pas, il m'en fallait plus. Toujours plus loin, toujours plus haut, telle est ma philosophie. Je voulais d'autres défis, mais tout a un prix.
