Herr Herrmann Mann, der Protagonist dieser Sammlung von vermeintlich lose aneinander gereihten Episoden, ist in seinem Umfeld ein angesehener Bürger. In etwa so angesehen wie Mario Stockschläder von 1&1 (Leiter von "Kunde wirbt Kunde"). Herrmann ist ein junger Bursche aus dem Rheinischen auf der Suche nach dem, was er als sein großes Glück assoziiert: Wein, Weib und Gesang. Leider gibt es immer nur mittelbare Antworten auf seine Träume.
