Début des années 1980 en banlieue est de Paris : trois loubards achètent une Traction Avant à un ferrailleur et partent en bordée pour baptiser leur acquisition. En cours de route, ils ramassent un inconnu dans un bistro et, à la suite d'une tournée des bars plutôt sévère, finissent par coller leur bagnole dans un mur. Il semblerait bien que l'inconnu en profite pour décéder. Dès lors, cadavre qui disparaît, kidnapping, chantage, les emmerdements pleuvent.
