Imagine being the only human left on an Earth occupied by monsters, aliens, and worse. Sounds terrible? Well...it's not so bad when you are an introverted battle junkie like me. Honestly, I was almost starting to appreciate being left behind while everyone else was given the chance to prepare for the mess Earth had gotten itself into. On a side note, it turns out I'm pretty good at hunting monsters. Though dragons and such are a bit out of my league. Just a bit. I survived dozen-something kobolds that wanted me dead, and now it's time to pay back their leader.

One fateful decision - that is all it takes to either unravel all the Talbot clan has achieved or fulfill their desire for safety. Many are lost, though others return; this is the story of their struggle to survive and in remembrance of those left behind.

Nopat is an ardent basketballer who feels that the world revolves around him and that he controls things. To some, he is a real treasure while others are unhappy with the way he operates. The setting for the event is an apocalyptic author, listeners get together, prepper camp out which is occurring in Alabama when a geomagnetic storm triggers a chaotic pole shift like event causing earthquakes and flooding. The electrical grid has gone down and the unexpected slip of Earth’s Tectonic plates grinding together causes the New Madrid Fault line in Tennessee to tear itself apart and alter America’s continental shape and coastlines forever.

I was with a friend at a coffee shop. Being kind of thirsty, I reach over to grab a coconut water, which caused me to accidentally drop my wallet. "Oops," I say. Of course, it hits the ground square and all my cards pop out, making for a minor inconvenience and pretty hilarious episode. I pick up everything and get back up, continuing my conversation. But my friend has changed their demeanor and wasn't really interested in talking too much anymore. They ended up needing to leave for work rather suddenly and...well..."unexpectedly".
