The Princess in Black is in a very stinky situation. A foul cloud is plaguing the goat pasture, and it smells worse than a pile of dirty diapers or a trash can on a hot summer day. But every time the Princess in Black and her friend, the Goat Avenger, manage to get rid of the odor, they accidentally blow it to another kingdom! Other masked heroes and their trusty companions show up to help, but how do you battle a stench when your ninja moves fail? Weil in den USA die Schauspieler und Schauspielerinnen streiken, verlegt der Regisseur Ralf-René Schröder die Dreharbeiten für seinen Film „Die Pirateninsel“ kurzerhand mit neuer Besetzung von einer Karibikinsel nach Papag-Eiland. Für den Regisseur ist das mit vielen Anstrengungen verbunden – für die Grundschul-Superhelden ein großes Glück. Denn Ralf-René hat Caro und Finn eine kleine Rolle angeboten und Anna und Jonas dürfen sie begleiten. Allein bei den Dreharbeiten am Filmset dabei zu sein, ist für alle vier aufregend. Und dann entdeckt Finn nachts noch ein geheimnisvolles Leuchten über dem Meer.

Ziemlich ungewohnt, ein Drei-Gänge-Menü zu verspeisen, wenn man die Hand vor Augen nicht sehen kann. Anna, Caro, Finn und Jonas finden den Ausflug der Klassen 5a und 5b ins Dunkelrestaurant ziemlich lustig, nur ihre Mitschülerin Henriette aus der Parallelklasse geht ihnen mal wieder gehörig auf die Nerven. Und als sich herausstellt, dass beim Abenteuer im Dunkeln die Perlenkette von Frau Kleinitz und die wertvolle Uhr von Direktor Dobermeier verschwunden sind, ist der Spaß vorbei. Wer hat nur die beiden bestohlen?
