Since it first opened on Broadway in September 1964, Fiddler on the Roof has constantly been onstage somewhere, including five Broadway revivals, four productions on London's West End, and thousands of schools, army bases, and countries from Argentina to Japan. Barbara Isenberg interviewed the men and women behind the original production, the film, and significant revivals.

In February 1964, The Beatles made their TV debut on The Ed Sullivan Show, catching the attention of Bob Eubanks. Wink Martindale catches up with Eubanks in an interview from 1977 about The Beatles playing the Hollywood Bowl. He discusses having second thoughts about booking them for the concert and then selling out in three and a half hours.

From 1986-1992 The Cathouse was at the epicenter of the Hollywood Rock scene. Some of the biggest bands in rock would play unannounced shows at the Cathouse but it wasn't the performances by bands like Guns n Roses, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Pearl Jam, Faster Pussycat, Black Crows (the list goes on) that put Cathouse on the map. It was the sleaze and debauchery, the raunch and roll. Riki Rachtman former host of MTV's Headbangers Ball owned the Cathouse.
