Bob and friends come back to Earth for a little well-deserved R and R. Take a few nice walks in the woods, play a little paintball. Too bad it can’t be that easy. Too many people want Commonwealth tech, for them to ever have any peace.

Homicide cop David Silver and his Elaki partner hunt an arsonist/killer who exterminates humans and aliens alike. Saigo City is caught in the grip of a savage murder spree by a perp who kills without compunction, then eliminates the evidence by torching the crime scenes. After a private residence is set on fire, killing two adults and four children, the hunt intensifies for this monster who seems intent on destroying both humans and Elakis.

Once again, John and his ladies find themselves pulled into conflict. Between just trying to survive and doing the right thing, they are up to their necks in deep sh*t. Sandy and May are their usual selves, which are enough to keep anybody busy just putting out the fires they start, but John is more than able to handle them until they...well, guess ya gotta listen to find out!
