Since the death of her mother, Hannah's family life has been somewhat chaotic. These include "farming" each room of the house, looking after an enormous pet sheep called Jasper, and writing and directing plays in a disused hen house. But when the farm is threatened with demolition, Hannah determines to save it and realise her dreams at the same time...

Hannah's family farm is once again under threat. This time, a water company wants to flood the land to make a reservoir. How can Hannah stand by and watch as her home, the land her family has farmed for generations, the wildlife, the ancient trees all disappear under a deluge of water? It’s summer vacation, and Miley Stewart is seriously stoked about three months with no homework, cafeteria food, or early morning alarms. Even better: Miley’s crush of the moment, Aussie surfer Talen Wright, will be riding the waves in the Breakpoint Surf Series - a major surfing competition being held in her hometown of Malibu. Hannah's family farm is in trouble again as their landlord threatens to evict them all. As homelessness looms, Hannah resolves to raise the money to buy the farm and secure the family's future once and for all. But how are a bunch of schoolkids going to raise two million pounds in six months...?

Hannah may have taken Malibu by storm, but Miley is still a small-town girl at heart. So when she gets the chance to headline at the largest rodeo in the country down in Texas, she, Robby, Jackson, Lilly, and Oliver are on a plane quicker than you can say “yeehaw”. But Miley soon discovers that everything - including the drama - is bigger in Texas. As it turns out, headlining a week-long rodeo involves a lot more than she bargained for. Hannah must judge the Miss Rodeo contest and kick off the festivities by roping a cow!
