Trump's gaslighting strategy is a complex and multifaceted one. He uses a variety of techniques to manipulate and control others, including Denying reality: Trump is notorious for denying reality, even when there is overwhelming evidence to the contrary. For example, he has repeatedly denied that he lost the 2020 presidential election, despite the fact that his own attorney general has said that there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. Trump's denial of reality can lead his followers to question their own perceptions and to distrust the mainstream media.

If you have been around a narcissist for any length of time, you become keenly aware that he is doing things behind your back. His covert tactics are meant to beat you to the punch, and he is nearly always two steps ahead of you. The narcissist stops at nothing to demean, devalue, and destroy those around him. And he has propaganda and an agenda that he is always delivering on an overt or covert basis.
