Enlisted to become an Imperial Seeker and serve the cruel Emperor, he is thrown into an initiation ceremony that is brutal beyond comprehension. Thomas may look like your normal 14-year-old boy—one who attends a Galactic High School, competes with other boys for the attention of girls, and plays sports such as the extremely popular and very dangerous cyclone surfing. But that's not him at all. You see, Thomas is a Sentinel. Sentinels are born to protect the galaxy in case the demonic race known as the Nefarious ever escape their prison in Hell. When his Sanctuary comes under attack by an organization known as The Marked, Thomas, his mother, and his trainer have to journey the galaxy in order to awaken his full power.

After a harrowing experience in the ancient Elven monastery, Jaden turns his attention to his studies at the Free Academy. But it's not long before Devourer's machinations are revealed and Jaden is forced to leave the Hidden City. But he isn't leaving alone. He is joined by his friends, Seekers like him, with bonds to their own Legendary Beasts. Together, they will face terrible horrors and seemingly insurmountable odds brought on by Devourer's quest for dominance of not only Jaden's world, but all others in the Polyverse.
