Oliver Twist lernt das Leben frühzeitig von seiner härtesten Seite kennen. Ohne elterliche Fürsorge aufgewachsen muss er im Armenhaus einer kleinen englischen Stadt erfahren, was Solidarität auch bedeuten kann.
