It's the mid-'90s, and rebellion is in the air. Skylark is an activist, a raver, a tree-dweller, a world-changer. Handsome, dependable Dan appears on the scene, offering her the security she has never had. When they fall in love, she shows him a new way to live; he will never be the same. But Dan has a secret, which Skylark must never, ever know. A secret so powerful that its fault-lines run from their ordinary council flat right up to the highest echelons of the state.

Winds of Change handelt davon, wie gewöhnliche Menschen auf politische Veränderung reagieren und damit zurechtkommen. Die Geschichte spielt in der ostdeutschen Stadt Chemnitz und folgt dem Leben von Dieter S., einem Stasi-Mitarbeiter, und Kai T., jenem Mann, den er während des DDR-Regimes ausspioniert. Beide stehen loyal zur DDR, wurde sie doch als Bollwerk gegen den Faschismus gegründet.

Hermana y hermano, Cara y Brom, del planeta Ammeron, similar a la Tierra, visitaron el idílico planeta cercano Jashar. Allí, a una edad temprana, conocen y se hacen amigos de Boda, un sabio muy gentil, avanzado y eterno que se convierte en su maestro. Cada verano, año tras año, pasan tiempo con Boda.
