In the not too distant future, on a decaying space-station from a high Venus orbit, a cantankerous and disgraced scientist awaits the delivery of a mysterious shipment. He hopes to use it to invent a new propulsion system and, in doing so, salvage his reputation. However, the station’s decommissioning crew, led by Chief O’Connor, are skeptical about his plans. They believe them to be nothing but drunken delusions, a theory which seems more than plausible given the bold and outlandish claims he has been making of late.

I was leveled up - twice now - transformed from a slightly overweight gamer with no real career prospects into a man-beast capable of slinging a massive hammer around like it's made of feathers and cotton. At this point I've already faced one of the massive demon overlords known as the Morgoss - those who are responsible for the overthrow of the Three goddesses and the predicament we find ourselves in. But I survived, along with several of my allies.

At this point in the tale, we’re about to be attacked by a massive army of shadow monsters conjured from the depths of the underworld (yeah, that part sucks), but don’t worry, there’s hope. Because we’re awesome.

Früh am Morgen wird Patrick Richter von einem Spezialeinsatzkommando aus dem Schlaf gerissen, verhaftet und verhört. Ihm wird die Mitgliedschaft in einer terroristischen Vereinigung vorgeworfen. Er ist unschuldig, doch das beeindruckt die deutschen Behörden wenig. Er wird an das FBI ausgeliefert und soll nach Guantanamo überstellt werden. Carsten Grünfeld, ein Vernehmungsspezialist, ist als Einziger von Richters Unschuld überzeugt. Beweisen kann er es nicht, denn was er gesehen hat, kann unmöglich so passiert sein.

Düsseldorf, August 2018 Patrick Richter ist zeitinstabil. Seine Welt ist es auch. Er hat sich damit arrangiert, ohne sich daran gewöhnt zu haben. Ein Fremder aus der Zukunft bittet Patrick um Hilfe. Hilfe, die nur er leisten kann. Eine kleine Gefälligkeit im Jahr 2014, die Europas Zukunft ins Verderben stürzt. Patricks Erkenntnis schmeckt bitter: Es stirbt sich schnell in diesen Tagen. Und die Zeit heilt doch nicht alle Wunden.

Düsseldorf, Februar 2018. Aufgrund der rätselhaften Vorgänge wird Patrick Richter von den Behörden auf den Kopf gestellt. Heraus fällt nur die Wahrheit, die niemand glaubt. Spezialisten versuchen dem Smartphone aus der Zukunft seine Geheimnisse zu entlocken. Doch der größten Herausforderung begegnet Siggi erst im Jahr 2052. Mit dem Wissen aus der Zukunft nimmt Patrick das Schicksal in der Gegenwart in die Hand. Er scheitert. Er würde alles dafür tun, es ungeschehen zu machen. Carsten Grünfeld schaltet sich ein. Die Ereignisse lassen ihm keine andere Wahl.
