The simple fact of the matter is that Iris loves life. Maybe she’s forgotten that. Sometimes that happens, doesn’t it? To the best of us? All I have to do is remind her of that one simple fact. She cycles to her job as a care assistant in a nursing home from her childhood home, where she lives with her widowed mother, Annie, after a failed relationship. But Ronda has a rich fantasy life. In her imagination she is brave, assertive, respected and admired … much like her sister Margo, a successful working mother and wife. However, there’s no place for a chronic day-dreamer in Margo’s world. Ronda is flung out of her dream world when her sister insists that she learn to drive.
