We had a great conversation with Jeff Bradford From Dalton Agency on Young At Heart Nashville where we bring on professionals over 40 to tell their stories! Please bear with some of the audio, we had a few issues. We talked about many things from being a business owner, his story, how turning 40 should not matter because we can all do great things no matter the age plus a whole lot more!
A former journalist, Jeff has worked in public relations and marketing since 1985, serving as a senior executive of two large Nashville-area public relations and advertising agencies before establishing in 2000 public relations firm the Bradford Group in Nashville.
In 2020 the Bradford Group merged with the Dalton Agency to create a full-service advertising and public relations firm with offices in Nashville, Atlanta and Jacksonville. The combined firm generates over $12 million in revenue and has a staff of more than 90. Jeff leads Dalton’s Nashville office.
Jeff is one of three Hall of Fame members of the Nashville Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs Award (and the only seven-time winner) and has been honored as Volunteer of the Year by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
He serves on the boards of several Nashville-based non-profit organizations, including Knowledge Academies charter school, Safe Haven Family Shelter, You Have the Power victims advocacy and the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America Middle Tennessee Council. He is also active in America’s largest chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, which is based in Nashville. He serves as a mentor for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and The Wondr’y at Vanderbilt University.
He holds a B.A. in English and philosophy from Centre College of Kentucky, where he received several honors, including editor of the literary magazine and founder of its publishing press, dean’s list and class rep to the College Council. He currently sits on the advisory board of CentreWorks, the college’s entrepreneurship program.
