Amanda and I discussed her experience growing up and coming to terms with having a chronic illness. We agreed that although you may be different from others, it is important to embrace your uniqueness and remember that everyone has their own story, so it is important not to judge someone based on appearances.

We touch on her journey of starting the organization and achieving recognition at both state and national levels. She discusses her goal of making a positive difference in students who are facing mental health challenges and we also talk about the difficulties of being a young entrepreneur in charge of a nonprofit like ours. We believe it's more important to stand out and make a difference rather than blend into a crowd where nobody pays attention.
