In this episode of “What’s Hot in the Hive”, we spoke with individuals from the Leaders of Literacy meeting regarding the Ready, Read, Write, West Virginia Program. Hundred High School's students traveled to the West Virginia State Capital building for the CTE Day at the Legislature. West Virginia students had the opportunity to showcase their abilities and their projects that they worked on at their schools throughout the year. Red Ribbon Week was created in 1985, to inform students of the harms of drug abuse and how to prevent possible addictions. The "dress-up" days throughout the week, help to build the sense of community and working towards a common goal, that aides in Red Ribbon Week's effectiveness.
