  • With Natural England https://www.gov.uk/government/news/swanscombe-peninsula-confirmed-as-site-of-special-scientific-interest (designating Swanscombe Peninsula as a Site of Special Scientific Interest) (SSSI), plans for The London Resort have been far from smooth during 2021. Although construction is still expected to begin this year, the park is now forecast to open a year later than first expected, in 2025. This could be due to delays in signing off the resort's plans, in light of the site's new designation. However, with P. Y. Gerbeau and the London Resort Design team still going full speed towards construction, and recruitment in full swing, we're sure 2022 will be just as much of a roller coaster... pun intended!
