Jesus loves us and our families and He promises us that if we believe in Him, we and our household shall be saved. When God calls us, He calls the whole family as well. The word "save" in the Greek is "sozo". Sozo means not only to be healed spiritualy, but emotionall and physically as well. It means to be provided for, to be protected and delivered from all harm and evil. "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved; you and your household," Acts 16:31

In Daniel 2, God begins to reveal the sequence of events that would take place in the end times. God gave King Nebuchadnezzar a dream which perplexed him. He asked his wise men not only to interpret the dream, but to tell him the dream which he had. Of course, the wise men could not tell him the dream, so he issued a decree to have all of them killed. God is faithful to His Word. In Genesis 6, God told Noah that He would destroy the earth by flood. There was great violence in the earth, so much so that He regretted that He created humankind. Genesis 6:5-8. God provided a way for escape for Noah and his family and for anyone who chose to believe His coming judgment. Sad to say, only Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives were saved. After the flood, God made a covenant with mankind never to destroy the earth by again.
