  • This episode hears Sacha Puttnam talking to Oscar winning composer Rachel Portman (for Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow, and being one of the only three women to have won the Academy Award for Best Score). Rachel tells Sacha about her breakthrough into film composing along with the joys of writing the music to this wonderful and heart warming film, War of the Buttons, adapted for the screen by Colin Welland.

    Sacha took two of Rachel's pieces from WotB to produce his beautiful suite on the album Spirt of Cinema.
