Matt pops on to join Travis to talk VfB at Slovan and VfB at Mainz! As such, the guys chat up some wins, some losses, and some text strands, as they use their weekly in-game text strand to chat about the lineup, the players, and the result! Wrapping up the episode, Matt is way more optimistic than Travis regarding the upcoming week but that doesn't mean we don't learn about Matt's love of pain and Travis' dislike of animals!

It's the perfect Englische Woche and so we bring in the perfect trio - David, Doug, and Austin - to break down the week that was!

First off, we welcome back resident SCF supporter, Auz, to get his view on his club Freiburg as well as his views on what it's like coming at VfB nowadays and then ask friends of the show David and Doug to defend (or brag about!) their pre-season Hot Takes and break down the RBL match a bit.

We then return with Austin to break down the matches a bit further before diving into some News & Q's that include the super important Champions League match at Bratislava mid-week!

It's the first episode of 2025 and Matt, Ted, and Travis talk about the first win of 2025, a gritty - if not pretty - win over Swabian neighbors FC Augsburg!

Talking points include Demi's struggles, Deniz's comeback, Derek's food commentary, coming's and going's like Bruun and Franz, and finally, the upcoming Englische Woche as VfB hosts both RBL and SCF.

We promised it would be a short episode as it's a busy week but after an hour of chatting we realized we're just giddy to get 2025 up and rolling again!
