    Welcome to Unlocked Perspectives!

In this episode, I speak to two fantastic women, Angela Kirwin and Sarah Templeton, about the fantastic work they do to campaign for prison reform and their experiences working in prisons and supporting offenders.

Angela Kirwin spent over a decade working as a social worker in some of Britain's most notorious prisons. She is now an author and prison reform campaigner and has documented her experiences and the stories of the men she met in her book "Criminal."

Sarah Templeton is a qualified counsellor and coach and worked in Young Offender units and adult male prisons.

She now dedicates her life to helping and raising awareness for people with ADHD people who have found themselves in tied up in the Criminal Justice System.

This episode aims to unlock the perspective of the people who go behind prison walls to provide support to offenders.

    Welcome to Unlocked Perspectives!

In this episode, I explore the intricacies of the female prison estate in England and Wales and the problems currently facing it.

I speak to a female prison leaver all about her experience with the prison system and I speak to Erin Gavaghan, the Executive Director and joint CEO of the Clean Break Theatre Company, an organisation which uses theatre to keep the subject of women in prison on the cultural radar.

In this episode I also chat with psychotherapist, CEO and founder of Mental Health Works Ltd Noel McDermott, all about his time working in the female prison estate.

This episode aims to unlock the perspective of the female prisoner and how women's prisons differ from men's.
