Dana's journey into the world of art and spirituality is nothing short of magical. With over 25 years of experience in education, she thrived as a high school teacher and later as the Director of Student Development. But despite her success, Dana felt an unrecognized creative void. This all changed when she picked up a paintbrush for the first time in January 2015—a moment that reignited her long-lost passion for painting, which had been dormant since her teenage years.

Dana’s story takes an exciting turn as she recounts how her husband played a pivotal role in awakening her artistic spirit. Instead of joining a painting class, he encouraged her to explore her creativity at home. This shift led Dana to paint daily, often inspired by themes of motherhood and independence, and eventually, she discovered her unique artistic voice.

But leaving her stable six-figure job to pursue art wasn’t without challenges. Dana shares her fears and doubts about walking away from her secure position. Yet, with her husband’s unwavering support, they embraced a simpler lifestyle—selling their home and moving to a more affordable area. This change allowed Dana to dedicate herself to her art and passion fully.

Our conversation also dives into the powerful theme of worthiness. Dana opened up about how societal conditioning, especially for women, can stifle our true selves.
