  • World's most powerful aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford:-USS Gerald R. Ford is USA's most advanced aircraft carrier warship. It is named after the 38th President of USA. who also played an important role in the US Navy during the Second World War. USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier is the first ship of this class and is more advanced than the Nimitz class aircraft carrier ship of USA, because even though the Nimitz class warships are nuclear powered but their technology of the 60s for power generation is now obsolete. Whereas the new A1B nuclear reactor is installed on Gerald Ford which can generate three times more power, so that the warship can remain in the sea for many years. USS Gerald R. Ford's length is 337 meters and weight is 100,000 tons. While the length of the runway present on it is only 333 meters. 90 fighter jets and combat helicopters can be deployed simultaneously on this aircraft carrier, which includes F-35C and F-18 Super hornet fighter jets. While Along with them, Growler Electronic Warfare Aircraft, E-2 Hawkeye All Weather Airborne Early Warning Aircraft are also present. Sea-Hawk multi mission helicopter and combat drones are also ready to fly on the ship at all times. Rolling Airframe Missile and AIM-162 Sea-Sparrow Missile are fitted on USS Gerald R Ford Aircraft Carrier Ship, while Phalanx Close In Weapon System, Machine Gun and Torpedo Launcher are also installed. This warship can move in the sea at a speed of 56 kilometers per hour. 5,000 soldiers live on it. Gerald Ford is equipped with AESA advanced search and tracking radar system.
