Meet Destiny! Destiny Faith Nelson is a Los Angeles based American actor, writer, producer, and speaker with Nigerian ancestry.  As an actress, Destiny is known for playing ambitious, resilient, and serene characters such as the Nigerian immigrant mother, Imani, in “Bienvenidos a Los Angeles” which WON at the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase in France. In addition, she can be seen in the Asian-led, woman-led, feature film “Take Out Girl” directed by Hisonni Mustafa on Hulu and in the festival circuit with LGBT story, “Blunt”.
Destiny does not only aspire to live out the lives of characters on-stage and on-screen, however, she also enjoys directing, writing, and producing. As an inherent strategist, and problem solver, she finds joy in the process of creating worlds and telling underrepresented stories that challenge perspectives. Destiny’s first film, “The Trap” has gone on to win a Femmy at the Nevada Women’s Film Festival as well as earning a Social Awareness Award at the Culver City Film Fest. In addition, her writing has received recognition in contests, and she has gone on to produce and direct socially conscious music videos, including her own social awareness cover video, “Look What You Made Me Do”, in the wake of the George Floyd and BLM protests in
2020.

Meet Lia!

Lia Asher is a successful actor and talented voiceover talent who speaks many different languages, accents and dialects. Her voice can be heard all over the world in commercials and speaking Hebrew in the app, “Toddler Puzzle Shapes.”  She can also be seen in many of commercials, TV and film.  Her most notable role was for the lead in an independent film called, “Chance.”  Lia will share how to get started in the voiceover business and what drew her to that field. Her journey has taken her to other parts of the world to eventually bring her to Los Angeles. Lia offers great tips and information for any wanting to break into the business.
