Session zero of the Twenty Sides to Every Story Dolmenwood campaign using the Old School Essentials game system. Five prisoners travel north by way of canoe up the River Hameth. They are the wards of another, Sir Silas d'Santos, to earn amnesty for the capture of a rogue prismist named Marjoram Gryver who is accused of crimes against the Lumoran crown. Their journey takes them to the edge of the Dolmenwood and the adventure begins as they make camp for the evening...

Their journey takes a turn when their money is stolen by a Grimalkin creature named Jaspy Poppeltail and they must venture by foot in pursuit of their lost coin.

The characters enter a strange tower which stands on the banks of the River Hameth in search of a Grimalkin who stole their coin. Anxiety is heavy as the characters brace for the possibility of encountering the powerful wizard who they worry lurks within.
