Unbeknownst to Kathy, she had married a man who had two marriages under his belt, one of which ended when his wife died of a suspicious drowning incident several years prior. It took several months of prying, but eventually Dennis Larson admitted to the cruel murder of his third wife before being sentenced to 50 years in jail for the crime.

Christine was reported missing in early December of 2019, and every sign pointed back at her boyfriend and father of her child, Jose Morales. After several interviews, multiple witness reports, and the discovery of disturbing evidence, Jose was arrested for Christine’s murder. However, Vanessa has never been found, and Jose claims he has no knowledge of where she could be. As of right now, Jose has yet to stand trial.   • Episode 167: The Murder of Louise Chaput

    On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz talk about the murder of Canadian tourist, Louise Chaput, in November of 2001. Louise traveled to Pinkham Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, as she was an avid hiker who loved the outdoors and being active. On this solo trip, Louise arrived at her destination just before it began to get dark outside, and feeling like she needed exercise from driving all day, opted to go for a short hike before checking into her hotel. This would tragically prove to be fatal, as almost a week later, Louise was found murdered. Over 23 years later, her death remains unsolved.
