  • Introducing the Torrington Democratic Podcast
    Sep 7 2024

Welcome to the Torrington Democratic Podcast series. The first three episodes consist of exclusive interviews with Democratic candidates running for office in November: Paul Honig who is running for State Senator in the 8th District; Justin Potter who is running for State Senator in the 30th District; and Michelle Cook who is running for State Representative in the 65th District. We hope that listening to these podcasts will help you decide who you want to support in this November's election.

In December, we will begin a series of podcasts on a variety of topics of concern to you and other Torrington residents, including taxes and the city's efforts to attract and retain businesses and jobs, progress being made on the new school, ways to improve the city's finances, and highlights from city meetings, including the City Council, Board of Education, and the Planning and Zoning Commission. We hope that you benefit from listening to our podcasts and that they will make it easy for you to stay informed. We also hope that they will encourage you to take an active role in supporting initiatives that you care about and that will make our city a better place to live, work and play.

We welcome your recommends for future topics as well as your constructive comments about how to improve our podcasts.
