It’s an honor and privilege to have Mizzou Cheerleader Coach and Mascot coordinator Cynthia Metz on the program today. Did you know Mizzou Cheerleaders have won back to back National Championships? We’ll tell you how they did as well as discuss how Truman won a National Championship in the mascot division. We’ll discuss the tryouts, the popularity of Tiger Cheerleaders and the work they put in. I also ask her about the Statue of Liberty competition that Mizzou seems to always win at the Braggin Rights hoops game that just occurred. We’ve got a new recipe to add to your collection as well.

Today we’ll talk to Mizzou Volleyball Coach Dawn Sullivan. We’ll share how she started in Minnesota farm country as an athlete, moving into high school and not knowing Volleyball positions. We move into how she went on to be an all-American at K-state, played some pro volleyball before getting into the coaching ranks and moving from rural America into the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas before traveling back to the Midwest and breathing new life into the Mizzou Volleyball program.
