The Whole Testament

By: Dave Campbell & Friends
  • Summary

  • Ever wondered why the Old Testament and New Testament are so different? As modern day believers do we really even need the Old Testament? This Podcast is designed to help bridge the gap between the Old and the New, and to help you see how connected they really are. Our goal is to put the two "Testaments" back together, so that we can get the whole story of what God is doing in our lives and in our world.

  • Episode 77 | The Four Promises to Freedom | Portion Va’era
    Jan 20 2025

This week, Dave will dive into the promises of God to the Israelites, and how they can help lead us to freedom from sin and addiction.

What is all this talk about "Appetizers, Entrées and Desserts"? If you read Hebrews 5 the author talks about how the fellow believers are like babies because they are ignorant of the "Oracles of God." The majority of the time that this word is used is in connection with the Torah given by God to His people. Here at The Whole Testament, we believe that we are also often times "Baby Believers" not knowing the meat of God's Oracles. We want to learn how to "eat" solid food. We are using this as a model for our podcasts. We want to eat meals, full big meals with an appetizer, entrées, and a dessert. The appetizers are shorter more devotion like episodes that are designed to get you thinking about something in a new way. The entrees are intended to get your really thinking deeply about the scriptures, and the desserts are about how we can apply what we have learned in our lives through conversations with people who are trying to do it in their lives.
