    Meet our guests

    Skye McAlpine is a cookery writer who recently released her second book, A Table for Friends, and a collection of tableware with Anthropologie. She talks to us from her home in Venice, telling us of her love of fruit as decoration and the beauty of imperfection.


    Theo Randall is chef patron of Theo Randall at Hotel Intercontinental. He is passionate about Italy and Italian cuisine, and just released The Italian Deli Cookbook. From his Cassina LC2 sofa to a treasured pestle of mortar from the River Cafe days, Theo shares wonderful stories about his family's life in Primrose Hill.


    Writer, stylist and chef Anna Jones is a bit of a pioneer, leading the way for how we want to eat today; her new book One Pot, Pan, Planet is both very easy-to-use and environmentally conscious. Anna's The Well-crafted Life interview spans her home renovation through her approach to sustainability to her chef's notebook in an utterly gorgeous celebration of life and home.

    Florist and stylist Willow Crossley creates wild and whimsical arrangements that are incredibly inspiring. She has an online course with Create Academy and also produces wonderful instructional Instagram videos. Willow talks to us from her home in Oxfordshire, generously sharing what makes her happy, from treasured possessions through colours that give confidence to a love of walking in the woods.


    Landscape architect Marian Boswall runs her eponymous studio, best known for creating stunning gardens in sensitive or historic settings. Her ethos is nature-first, and it is clear from this podcast that she finds joy in surrounding herself with animals, birds, insects and trees. Listen to hear her inspiring and philosophical advice on how to elevate the everyday.


    Author James Rich's first book Apple came out in August 2019. The book celebrates James' Somerset heritage and the scope of recipes possible with the fruits of an English orchard. In this podcast, James tells us about his recent move from London to the countryside, enthuses on Aga cooking and shares what is particularly important to him at home.

    Russell Pinch set up his business Pinch Design with his wife Oona in 2004, having cut his teeth working with Terence Conran. Russell and Oona's mission with the brand was to design furniture and lighting that they would want to live with. His passion for making shines through in this episode, as does his love of found objects and beautiful materials.


    Designer Molly Mahon creates beautiful block-printed fabrics and wallpapers from her Sussex cottage. She paints an uplifting picture of how colour has transformed her life and home.


    Ceramicist Freya Bramble-Carter splits her time between making beautiful, one-off pots and working with her father teaching the craft. Listen for tales of her life in London with her sister, how creativity has always been part of her story and the off-beat ways she decorates her flat.

    Tricia Guild has been filling our home with joyful colour and pattern since 1970 when she first opened Designers Guild on London's Kings Road. In this episode she paints a vivid picture of her home and style, offering insights into shades to decorate with and sharing the small ways she brings a little life and joy to her everyday.


    Eva Sonaike is a London-based designer who draws on her Nigerian and German heritage to create original textiles that are drenched in colour. Since launching her brand on maternity leave 13 years ago, Eva hasn't looked back. Talking to us from her north London home that she shares with her husband and two children, she tells us about their Friday night rituals, her love of fresh air and fragrance and the importance of power dressing.


    Joa Studholme is the colour curator for Farrow & Ball, responsible for coming up with some of the world's best-loved names like Elephant's Breath and Nancy's Blushes. She whisks us to her Somerset school house, describing her new found love of nature and her most treasured possession - her Caran d'Ache.

    Charu Gandhi is the founder and director of Elicyon. She has coined the phrase 'interior couture' to describe the studio's style, sharing in this podcast how her home taps in to that.     Eclectic, collected, original and striking best describes Linda Boronkay's approach to style.     Andrew Hills is the co-founder and creative director of furniture and lighting brand Porta Romana. He originally set up the business with his wife Sarah, after they’d both quit their jobs in the city to follow their dreams, and he now regularly launches designs with industry leaders. In this podcast, he tells us about his Godfather-inspired office, his love of restoration and their treasured recipe book. 


    Fabric and wallpaper guru Michal Silver is the creative force behind Christopher Farr Cloth. She has worked with the good and the great of the interiors world, both creating new designs with contemporary names and reviving archival work by artists like Raoul Duffy and Anni Albers. She describes her Mies van der Rohe-inspired home in London and talks about the importance of memories. 


    Interior designer Mary Graham works with Nicole Salvesen, forging a distinctive design style they describe as future heritage. Their rooms are timeless, elegant and full of arresting details. They've also launched beautiful products in collaboration with Jennifer Manners, Fromental and David Seyfried. Here, she tells us about her new family home in Yorkshire, sharing her love of flowers and freshly ironed sheets.

    Beata Heuman is a Swedish-born interior designer that delights with her eccentric and playful approach to design. She set up on her own in 2013, having trained with Nicky Haslam. Here, Beata describes with enthusiasm the rituals she has fostered and the spaces in her own home in which she finds the most joy. 


    Comfortable and uplifting best describes rooms created by Soane founder Lulu Lytle. She designs with the guiding principle that furniture should be both enhancing and inherently useful. Her design story began at 25, when she founded her business and embarked on a road trip to find traditional craftspeople with whom she could work. She speaks to us from her west London flat that’s filled with found fabrics, rich colours and the spirit of family life.
