  • MIND TO HEART EP6: Learning About Yourself By Looking at Yourself
    Oct 11 2021

Many people find doing self-reflection difficult or troublesome. They don’t understand why they need it, and they don’t see the benefits of doing self-reflection. Why is self-reflection important for you?

Self-reflection allows you to understand and see things from a different point of view. When you take a step back from a situation, you gain a new understanding. You can see the whole picture, not just the piece of the puzzle. You become more open-minded. Here’s a question that takes some self-reflection.

Have you considered what it’s like to be married to you? Most of us go through times when we think such things. But have you considered… just how easy is it to be married to YOU?

Certainly, your spouse may have many faults that you can point out but you need to reflect on your own actions too. Most of the time, we are too busy thinking about how our partner treats us. We put so much time and effort to make sure our partner does their job. But when we overly focus on our partner’s flaws, we tend to overlook their strength and kindness.

Without even realizing it, we can slip into a routine of minimal effort on how we treat our loved ones. This is why self-reflection is important. It creates a check and balance. By reflecting on how you treat your partner, you can make changes that lead to a more harmonious relationship.

When you start to self-evaluate on a regular basis, you will begin to see which area you can improve. By doing this, you can understand your current relationship even better. It also can make you more appreciative of your partner. Self-reflection is a process to take a hard look at who you are and how you can be better. It also helps you figure out the life principles that you want to practice. Remember, your relationship starts with you.

When you are becoming your best self, you will attract true and long-lasting love. The power to create the love relationship that you desire is in your hands.

  • S2 EP7: Conversation Starters For Husband and Wife
    Oct 4 2021
Marriage is a lifelong journey that thrives on great companionship. In this episode, we played this card game for Husbands and Wives.   This card game will spark deep conversations through thought-provoking questions. Sometimes you may ask yourself, does my husband love me? This is due to his inconsistency when expressing care and affection. Relationships and marriages thrive on the foundation of true love.   A partner’s ability to fuse and remain bonded with the husband depends on the strength of the foundation of their love for each other. Sometimes, there are uncertainties in relationships and marriage.   But it is important for you as a spouse to pay attention to signs that serve as proof that your husband still loves you in order to answer the question nagging your mind, “is my husband still in love with me.” Although emotion cannot be seen with the eyes or touched with the hands physically, love can be strongly felt. If your husband still loves you, it will be felt! We can see the fruits of love in the actions expressed between partners or spouses.   There are obvious signs a husband loves his wife. A loving husband takes pleasure in ensuring to let his wife know he loves her. Do you want to know if your husband loves you? Ask and it shall be given to you. :)   Watch on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbkkbYVabls

  • MIND TO HEART EP5: How a Bad Marriage Prepares me for my Current Marriage
    Sep 28 2021

In this episode, I'll tell you my personal experience with what happened to my first marriage and how it prepared me for my 2nd and last marriage.

Just to give you some definition of what is a manipulative person. People who manipulate use mental distortion and emotional exploitation to influence and control others. Their intent is to have power and control over others to get what they want.

A manipulator knows what your weaknesses are and will use them against you.1 This will keep happening unless you actively and assertively put a stop to it. That said, it is not always easy. Stopping manipulation in a marriage can be difficult because it might have started out subtle. Over time, manipulation can become the everyday dynamic of your relationship with your partner.

    Sep 26 2021

Every couple is different, and what worked for your grandparents or your BFF and her husband may be the complete opposite of what helps you and your significant other. But that doesn't mean you can't learn from other couples! Each long-term marriage has its own secret to success. How well do you know your partner? Do they have the qualities that help you become a better person? Do they have habits that make you think twice about your relationship? Have you had the chance to get to know both the best and the worst parts of them? These are the questions that if answered, can help you realize if you’re with the right person or not. However, you should also keep in mind that not all relationships are perfect, and keeping an open mind about which imperfections are worth your understanding is important.
