Personal List: Make a separate list for each family member’s personal items. *Spare Glasses *Prescriptions etc. Physical Health List: *Keeping up to date on dental/vision/routine physicals. *Staying in shape *Emotional Support Items to get you through rough periods. Seems like a small thing, but can instrumental with maintaining a positive outlook. Which is a major component of surviving anything. First Aid Kit List: Burn Treatment/Aspirin Bio-Warfare List *Disinfectants *Hand Sanitizers *N-95 Masks Security List *Guns/Ammo *Cleaning supplies *Spare Mags *Night watch shiftsThe majority of earthquakes happen along fractures within the earth where rocks move past each other. These fractures are called fault lines. This sudden shift and movement of rock cause the ground to shake as energy travels in waves across the land. The Washington State Dept of Natural Resources states that in the next 50 years, Washington’s populated areas have a 40-80% chance of a 7.1 magnitude earthquake happening. We sit where two plates come together, giving us the potential of a large offshore earthquake that will impact the entire I-5 corridor all the way to the Puget Sound region. Earthquakes aren’t the only thing one has to worry about when living next to a body of water. Tsunamis are a threat as well. Especially after a large earthquake.
