Ryan Gordy studied leadership at Providence College, has an extensive coaching resume, and teaches leadership and development courses at Canton High School. We discuss leadership, growth mindset, and grit all being related to one another.

Coach McDonnell is a multiple time state championship high school basketball coach, and also a guidance counselor. She has coached both boys and girls at the high school level, and discusses the challenges with kids today. She also talks about it from the angle of a guidance counselor.

Marina was taking photos for her high school football team when a hit on the sideline flipped her life upside down. Two players collided into her causing her to black out and endure a bad brain injury. She struggled on her road to recovery with various challenges, and shares them with us. She now is set to graduate at the University of Villanova and become a nurse.

Hunter opens up about his struggles with addiction, and his now passion for coaching. Hunter coached Quinton in club lacrosse, and was always one of his favorites because of his passion for life. Russ Cooke is a former college and NFL football player who suffers with head trauma from concussions. He had success in sales, and is now looking to give back. He is the founder and visionary of the app Ndur for Athletes which is a health and wellness app designed to connect athletes to let them know they are not alone. The app allows players to anonymously connect with people with similar challenges.

Jack Piatelli is the owner and founder of Piatelli Lacrosse. He is a coach, father, and mentor. Jack was a standout lacrosse player and is in the Springfield Hall of Fame. Jack is the father to Julianne, John, and Brian Piatelli. John and Brian played in the national championship for Cornell lacrosse. Jack is a friend to Mark, and has been a role model to Quinton. We appreciate him coming on today and sharing his coaching, lacrosse, and parenting knowledge.

Joseph and Andrew are brothers who lost their father to thyroid cancer when they were in high school. They are both standout college lacrosse players at RPI and Harvard University. Quinton met them through Piatelli Lacrosse and played with them when his mother was dying. The Perry brothers are the definition of tough, kind, and smart people.
