The UnLearn

By: Solomon Edmond
  • Summary

  • Unlearning is the process of discarding things that are no longer relevant to your growth. When you unlearn something you forget it, put it aside, and lose knowledge of it.

If something you’re holding on to no longer serves your higher calling, UnLearn it!

Well, Fam.  We’ve come to the end of a chapter, and I don’t know if this is the final chapter or just a pause of this series. But it has been an incredible journey challenging you to Unlearn everything you thought you knew about God and to learn him all over again.

I pray this experience has given you cause to get to know God for yourself on an intimate level, one-on-one. When you do that, an unshakeable trust in Him will develop that NO one can take away.

Beloved, we must be convinced that there is absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God! He loves you. He’s got you. All of you. No matter what.

Thank you for taking this ride with me. Until next time...

    Feb 16 2024

Today, I’d like to speak a word of encouragement to you and remind you to relax.

Many of us who were raised ‘old school’ grew up in the church living in fear, condemnation, and guilt and always conscious of our sins, wondering if God really loved you and if he was pleased with you.  We were taught that you had to work hard and toil for salvation when the only thing God asked of us is to simply Believe.  Everything else we need flows from our belief in Him. We rest in Him because His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Relax. When you rest, God works!

  • Pay Attention
    Feb 9 2024

On today's episode of the Unlearn, we are discussing the certain reality of change. We know that life is a constant series of change and nothing stays the same. As God's children we sometimes tend to think God will always do things the same way. We should never get so familiar or comfortable with God that we think we know Him like that! Yes, He's the same yesterday, today and forever, but the way He does things may change.

God is a progressive God...always moving. And our ability to hear his voice and obey what He says is critical. We must pay close attention to what God is saying and be ready to move at His command!
