Mars Sample Return Mission:

From NASA HQ, Bill Nelson (Administrator) and Nicky Fox (Associate Administrator, Science Mission Directorate) outline a new plan to retrieve the Mars surface samples collected by the Perseverance rover.

Mars Sample Return, a joint campaign being planned by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), would see multiple missions and components, with the goal of bringing Mars rock, loose surface material, and gas samples to Earth for detailed laboratory analysis.
