Walaa is hoping to go onto become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the goal of helping kids. Walaa shares her family’s incredible journey of fleeing war in her home country of Syria, living in Turkey for 3 years, before being invited to come to the USA as a refugee. Walaa pushes us to go out of our way to make relationships with people who are different from us.
