    But you are NOT your fearful thoughts. And you are NOT the story you tell yourself.

    And you're NOT your limiting beliefs or limiting decisions you made when you were very small and needed to feel safe and attached. You gave up parts of yourself to feel accepted and loved.

    It is so important more now than ever to know where we want to go and how we're going to get there.

    AND that we have everything we need inside of us. All the strength, all the tools, all the capability, it's all there inside of us. We just need to believe it.

    If you're not taking care of your own needs own human needs, you're going to keep losing your shit. It's that simple. There are so many factors that go into meeting our own needs. Some we know and are obvious, like I need to drink water, I need to sleep, I need to eat.

    Some we know we should do, but we don't do. And some we don't even think about. And some don't even hit our radar because we're constantly overloaded and overwhelmed.

    Meeting your own needs is an alchemy. There is a recipe and there are essential ingredients that keep being left out of the recipe that make you, you and when we leave out those essential ingredients, we keep on becoming the person we know we're not.

    It doesn't feel good. Parenting doesn't feel good. Life feels out of balance. And that feeling that something is missing keeps getting bigger and bigger, no matter how many things we try and fill it with. You know, the drinking, the food, the shopping, the phone scrolling, TV binges. The neediness, the perfectionism, the people pleasing, the micromanaging your family, that need for control all the time.

    So this episode is about understanding the Alchemy, the recipe that will help you feel more you than you've ever felt before, so let's get stuck in.

  • Ep #23 - When did we stop dancing with life?

    This podcast was inspired by a song called 'I Hope You Dance and it's by Leanne Womack'. And she's an amazing singer. She is a country and western singer. And she wrote this song for her children.

    And it makes me cry every single time I hear it. It's absolutely beautiful. It's about her wishes for her children. It's like life lessons. It's guidance. And it's just stunning. Whether you like country and western songs or not, the sentiment is so beautiful and it just really resonates, especially if you're a mother.

    I was listening it was just firing off all this inspiration for the podcast, so here you go. I get my inspiration where I get my inspiration and when I'm pulled very strongly towards something and when I am emotionally moved by something, I'm like, okay, I have to listen to my body and the guidance and that intuition.

    'and if you have the chance to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance'.

    • How often do we sit it out?
    • How often do we watch from the sidelines?
    • How often do we feel too exhausted, too overwhelmed and overstimulated to even think of doing more or taking on more?

    And while we're sitting it out we're missing out on the joys of life and then we lay in bed at night feeling restless and feel like there's something missing...

    Today I want to talk to you about unleashing your full potential, the real you.

    Because until you know who you really are, who you are beyond being a mother, a partner, a friend, your career... until you remember who you really are, until you see that glorious potential, your skills and unique gifts that you have inside of you, you will continue to feel lost.

    Simply going through the motions, losing your shit, experiencing shame and guilt for not being the mother and the role model you know you can be. You will continue to be disconnected from who you truly are.

    Because I can be a shouty Mum, with all I know, with all I've studied, all the wounds that have healed within me, all the inner child healing I do daily and even with all the pain I've transformed into power, I will still lose my shit sometimes because I'm human, that's going to happen. So even though I can be a shouty Mum, that's not who I really am, and that's not really who you are.

    This is how we break the cycles and get unstuck from the unhealthy and unhelpful patterns we all get stuck in.
