Joey and I both worked at Wright Medical, which got acquired by Stryker 3+ years ago. Joey was the presidents club winner around that time and had been recently promoted to the Regional Manager for Shoulder Arthroplasty Sales. He then went to Depuy to support their shoulder portfolio, but when they decided to make their reps 1099, he just decided to start his own distributorship and now supports FX Shoulder. Welcome Dr. Dydyk to the PODCAST! 🔥🔥🔥

Alexander Dydyk, DO, CAQPM, CAQSM is a pain management physician serving patients in Avondale, Glendale, Gilbert, Surprise, and Phoenix. Dr. Dydyk completed his Bachelor’s in Biology from Arizona State University and both his Master’s in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University.

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Dydyk continued his medical training through the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency Program, where he served as chief resident. He then completed two ACGME-accredited fellowships: the Long Beach Memorial Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program in Long Beach, California, and the Allegheny Health Network Pain Medicine Fellowship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Dydyk earned his certification in obesity medicine in 2023 after joining the HealthyU Clinics team in 2022 as the director of pain medicine, weight loss, and wellness.

He spends his free time with his wife, their three children, extended family, and close friends. He enjoys lifting weights at the gym, watching movies, playing basketball, making breakfast with his kids on the weekends, and going on dates with his wife.

Today we talk to Andy Menth, who went from Solar Sales to Medical Sales. He kept knocking on doors, just like he did in solar, to break into the Medical Sales Industry. He now works for Ziehm Imaging, based in Arizona, where he sells large C-Arms. Large C Arms are used so that surgeons and physicians have visualization of the anatomy and can perform their procedures accurately. These devices typically range from $75,000-$500,000. Capital Medical Sales is a very complex and challenging sales process, yet highly rewarding. We can all learn a little something from this episode! Great insight for those trying to break in AND for those that are already in it looking for a different Medical Sales sector to transition into.

His Pain Medicine training was completed at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. Jones also received extensive training in cancer and non-cancer pain management.

He enjoys teamwork and appreciates the opportunity to work with the staff at The Pain Center. He has fun with his team and enjoys the opportunity to help patients get back into life. For Dr. Jones, the most rewarding thing about treating patients with pain is the ability to help those who have been in pain for a long time. He loves helping take that pain away and improving their quality of life.

Today we welcome Dr. Sharma to the podcast and we learn about pain management and the different therapy options out there!

Dr. Avijit Sharma, MD is a double board certified interventional pain specialist and anesthesiologist who has trained at some of the top institutions in the country. Dr. Sharma embraces a carefully curated multidisciplinary approach to treating pain. He works with patients to come up with an individualized plan including interventional procedures, physical therapy, and regenerative medicine. In this way, Dr. Sharma hopes to not only alleviate pain, but restore functional ability as well. Dr. Sharma was born and raised in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at California State University Los Angeles. He then went on to study medicine at THE Ohio State University where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and Masters of Public Health degrees. Following medical school, Dr. Sharma completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine - New Haven Hospital. It was here that Dr. Sharma realized he wanted to dedicate his career to helping chronic pain patients regain their lives. After residency, he completed an ACGME accredited Pain Medicine fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an institution affiliated with Harvard Medical School.

Aside from clinical practice, Dr. Sharma is active in medical research and has published in highly regarded peer-reviewed medical journals. He has contributed chapters to pain medicine textbooks and presented his work at several national and international conferences. Dr. Sharma’s passion for research allows him to provide his patients with cutting-edge and innovative therapies. Dr. Sharma is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, Pacific Spine and Pain Society, and North American Neuromodulation Society. In his spare time, Dr. Sharma likes to stay active by enjoying the outdoors or traveling with his family. Dr. Sharma looks forward to building new relationships with his patients and partnering with them to help achieve their wellness goals. Dr. Sharma will be seeing patients at our Glendale and Sun City locations in Arizona.
