This week we got to sit down with legendary big air snowboarder Jussi Oksanen. Jussi is known not only for his competition successes both competing in the Halfpipe in the 1998 Olympics and having medaled and won X-Games competitions in the past, but also his creativity and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Jussi originally grew up near Helsinki, Finland where he fell in love with skating and shortly after, snowboarding. He traveled the world chasing the best snow in the backcountry with Burton Snowboards and finally retired a few years back to pursue other endeavors.

Jussi is now a successful photographer shooting major brand campaigns, many of which revolve around active lifestyle photography.
