Just how little time an author has to read ...

I loved the reminder of being a child and also sitting tucked away for hours in our local Carnegie library (thank you Andrew!). It was either there or surreptitiously under the bed covers with a torch until caught! Life would be unimaginable without books, be the pages tapped, turned or read to us. I hope Ian gets to read more and he and his wife have enjoyed his well earned year off. I look forward to reading A Game Called Malice and to the episodes to come in The Queen's Reading Room.
