It is imperative that we, as members in particular, fitly framed together in the Body of Christ, have the spiritual sensitivity to discern when another part of our body is struggling or in pain or needing support or comfort of some kind! If we properly discerned the Lord's Body there would not be nearly so many Prodigals! They would be fully restored before they wind up excised from the body and then replaced by a spiritual prosthetic device... a program or a plan. I fear at times that we not only fail to discern the Lord's body, but we also have lost the ability to feel for the body part that has been severed and replaced unless the body part is directly connected to us. Lord Jesus, help us to feel the loss of and discern the needs or Your Body, The Church!
