    May 27 2024

    Send us a Text Message.

Continuing the topic of single use plastics that you can REFUSE, in this episode Laurie talks about products you can swap out in the laundry room and kitchen. We talk about HDPE and some of the chemicals you are exposing yourself and your family to when you use liquid cleaning products that come in single use plastic containers.

  • REFUSE Single Use Plastics
    May 9 2024

    Send us a Text Message.

Let's talk about ways you can REFUSE single use plastics and what Laurie uses as options.

Links to options that Laurie discusses:

    Collapsible cutlery

    Collapsible straw:

    https://www.4ocean.com/products/finalstraw-collapsible-reusable-straw-with-cleaner

I honestly don’t remember where I got my mesh produce bags but probably from Amazon. There are several more environmentally friendly options that are made from cotton instead of a plastic mesh. I got mine before I understood the dangers of microplastics. Just google mesh produce bags to find some options. A couple of options are www.ecobags.com, www.simpleecology.com, www.seekbamboo.com and www.4ocean.com.
