  • In today’s message, our pastor, Randy Westerberg, preaches from Romans 6:3-4 and explains what it means that we are dead to sin and alive to God. He uses a unique illustration that makes everything very clear. Basically, when a person is made a new creation in Christ, he can no longer go back to his old ways because he has been made new.

    This sermon is a comfort to Christians because it assures us of the power and grace of Jesus Christ in our salvation. As I listened to this sermon, I thought of Philippians 1:6 where Paul says, 

    “I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” And this is true because he has made us a new creation.
