  • Ep. 19: The 3 step evaluation process
    Sep 9 2024

Have you ever gone to sleep only to break out in sweat because you suddenly remember everything you’ve done wrong that day?

Does your brain “helpfully” remind you of all the things you shouldn’t have done, and what you could have done better?

Is it affecting your confidence and your willingness to try new things or do things you find difficult?

First of all: You’re NOT alone!

Second: I have the solution for you in the latest episode of The Overwhelmed Vet Podcast.

In this episode I take you through the 3 step evaluation process that will help you overrule your brains tendency to focus on everything that went wrong (aka what YOU did wrong).

The 3 step evaluation process helps you grow and stay grounded knowing that you’ll never get everything 100% right all the time - and that’s ok.

Whether it’s that dreaded bitch spay (fat labrador, anyone?), a job interview or a difficult conversation, with a solid evaluation process you can stop beating yourself up and instead learn and grow your confidence on the go, no matter what level you're at.

Hey! Thanks for listening! Send me a text and let me know what you think.

  • Ep. 18: When vets judge vets
    Sep 1 2024

Being judged and criticised by clients is one thing, but it gets taken to a whole other level when it happens to be another VET that does the judging and criticising.

When you work in vet med, you’re basically a member of a tribe. Risking ridicule and rejection from any member of such a tribe touches something deep inside us and provokes a primal human response of fear, anger and anxiety.

In this episode I tackle the situation from two perspectives:

    1. The vet doing the judging
    2. The vet receiving the judging

There is so much to be learned from these situations, and if you can handle feedback like a pro then you’ll always come out on top, no matter how fair or unfair it is.

If you fear other’s judgement - fear no more! Tune into this episode and dig into how to deal with criticism from the ones that matter the most - your peers.

If you want more help with this don’t forget I’m still taking on 1-1 clients for 4 months coaching. I’m just a call away and love talking to you whether you sign up for my coaching or not:
