One of the most controversial information presented by Ufoarchaeology refers to a strange inscription, found on top of a wall in a temple of Abydos, in Egypt. Abydos was one of the most important cities of Ancient Egypt, located 11 kilometers west of the Nile River, at latitude 26º 10′ N, in the region of Upper Egypt. Its original name is Abdju, which is the reference found in the local archaeological sites. It was the Greeks who later called the place Abydos, the name by which it is known today.
