    May 15 2024

It's early 1802, and the formerly enslaved peoples of Saint Domingue (Haiti) are revolting against the largest French military expedition of the time. The Louverture's are the preeminent family leading the revolution—and, unbeknownst to them, the target of a plot to make them forcibly disappear.

Alexandre Benoit talks to a Harvard undergraduate historian about the state of play in Haiti and outlines upcoming episodes in this unprecedented five-part historical investigation into what happened to Toussaint Louverture and his family.
